My musical roots are in blues, country and rock. Nevertheless, purely electronic or alienated sounds have always been interesting. You could do a lot with a guitar bottleneck, for example.

From the moment I heard Tangerine Dream's "Quichotte I and II", I was captivated by the sound aesthetics of the TD of the early 80s. Not that the evolution in sound and technique of TD's further decades wasn't interesting. The music of Tangerine Dream in the early 80s was connected with a special feeling for life, which is still influential today. I always remember this sound and the stylistics. In retrospect, "Quichotte" is one of the best TD albums ever. This timelessness makes it a pleasure to listen to again and again.

TETAGON is an album that very much follows this musical template. It was written a some time ago, but was finished quite quickly, despite the complex structures. Hardware devices as well as high-quality but also great free software were used.

It has been completely remastered and given a more modern, pleasant sound.

The album offers a very complex and yet entertaining listening pleasure.
